Directions for using Northern Z14016 EGR Cooler Cleaner

Remove the EGR Cooler from the vehicle.

Dilute EGR Flush with water from 1:4 (1 part flush to 4 parts water) for light buildup, up to 1:1 (1 part flush to 1 part water) for heavy buildup.

Manual Cleaning: Fill the EGR Cooler with the diluted solution and shake it several times. Allow the solution to work for 2 hours.

Soaking: Submerge the EGR Cooler in the diluted solution; making sure the inside of the EGR Cooler is completely filled. Allow to soak for 2 hours.

Pump/Flushing System (Recommended method for large numbers of EGR Coolers): Fill the solution tank with diluted EGR Flush. Connect the EGR Cooler to the system. Circulate the solution for 5-10 minutes.

Drain the EGR Cooler and flush it thoroughly with water to rinse out all remaining chemical.

Dry thoroughly before reinstalling on the vehicle
